Not everywhere, where project managers are written on it, there is also a project manager in it, because designations such as “project managers” or “project managers” are not protected. Not only because of their euphonious name, but above all because of their better earning potential, these positions also attract candidates who are not up to the complex tasks. In order to separate the chaff from the wheat, a project management certification can be helpful for the client as proof of performance.
Such a seal of approval, issued by a neutral and accredited institution, certifies that the holder possesses certain project management skills and works according to internationally recognised standards. With increasing globalisation and the widely differing views of project management, cross-company and internationally binding standards in project management are becoming increasingly important. The certified person himself usually expects more and more attractive job opportunities from this proof of competence.
