In recent years, project management has been professionally developed and standardized worldwide. These standards help to ensure that the same terms and methods are used in projects from different industries and countries. The ISO Standard 21500:2012 “Guidance on project management” was supported by the major international project management organisations such as PMI and IPMA and has made significant progress towards standardisation.
