What you need specifically

The PMP® certificate is not a new exam, but proof that you are actively continuing your education and commitment.
Within 3 years you will collect 60 PDUs.

This is how it is made up:

  • At least 35 PDUs from continuing education, distributed across the PMI Talent Triangle®
8 PDUs in each of the areas:

    • Ways of Working – Methods & Tools
    • Power Skills – Leadership & Communication
    • Business Acumen – Strategy & Profitability
➕ You can freely distribute the remaining 11 PDUs in the Talent Triangle.
  • Up to 25 PDUs from “Giving Back to the Profession”
    e.g. through:

    • Project management in everyday life (max. 8 PDUs)
    • Lectures or mentoring
    • Articles, blogs or other contributions on the topic of project management

You can also earn all 60 PDUs just by continuing your education if you wish – without giving back.

You simply report your PDUs via the PMI CCR system – and your certificate remains active.

The easiest way to collect PDUs (Education)

Our seminars are ATP-compliant and clearly identify PDUs per Talent Triangle area.

Reporting PDUs – how it works

As a participant in our seminars, the PDUs are automatically deposited with PMI®, as we are an authorized training partner of PMI® (ATP). Alternatively, you must enter your PDUs yourself in the PMI re-certification system (CCR) and wait for the audit.

  1. Log in to PMI/CCRS
Log in to the official PMI Continuing Certification Requirements System (CCRS).
  2. 🏷️ Enter claim code
Use the claim code that you receive from us after the seminar.
This code has been stored directly between PMI® and PS Consulting (ATP) and ensures
that your PDUs are automatically assigned to the correct Talent Triangle area.
  3. Wait for confirmation
After submitting the code, your PDUs will be credited directly to your profile.
The PMI renewal fee is only due at the end of the 3-year cycle (see PMI.org).

PMI Talent Triangle

The Project Management Institute (PMI) uses the PMI Talent Triangle® with three different areas of competence that every project manager needs and should continuously develop. These are also required for recertification as a Project Management Professional (PMP)® important.

The 3 areas of competence for further training are:

  • Ways of Working (formerly Technical Project Management), i.e. project management methods
  • Power skills (formerly leadership), i.e. the leadership and communication skills of a project manager
  • Business Acumen (Strategic and Business Management), General Understanding of Management
