So that you know what to expect, here is the timetable – step by step.
You don’t need a degree or project management experience for the CAPM®.
The most important requirement is proof of at least 23 hours of project management training – for example through our official CAPM® preparatory seminar.
Register on PMI.org, create a free user account and start your application:
Important: Don’t describe the project – describe your role in it.
Once your details have been checked, you will be admitted to the CAPM® exam within a few days.
Then you can choose your appointment – either online from home or at an official Pearson VUE test center.
Examination fees (as of 2025):
Becoming a member is worthwhile – not only do you save on the exam fee,
but you also get access to the PMBOK® Guide and other learning resources.
