This is where we are active as a PMI® Authorized Training Partner (ATP) and sponsor of the PMI chapters in Frankfurt and South Germany.
PMI is working to provide global guidance on the development of standards for the application of project management, e.g. with “A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide)”, a globally recognized standard for project management in today’s industry. Since 1984, the PMI has applied itself to the development and maintenance of a rigorous, test-based professional certification program in order to promote specialist project management and to distinguish the performance of individuals in this field. The PMI® certification “Project Management Professional” (PMP)® is the most highly recognized professional certificate for project management personnel worldwide.
The GPM is the German professional association for project management and has as statutory task the promotion of project management, in particular the out and further training as well as the research and information in this area. The GPM is the German representative in the IPMA (International Project Management Association).
In November 2001, the iMOVE office for the international marketing of vocational education was formed within the federal institute for vocational training (BIBB). The aim of iMOVE is to apply targeted measures to improve the German portfolio of vocational training courses, to compete internationally and to achieve a stronger position on the international training market.
