Conflict Resolution and Negotiation

Recognise areas of conflict in your project and achieve stable solutions

PM Master Level

Conflicts are usual events in projects and are often due to the nature of projects: team members have known each other only for a short time. People involved in the project pursue different objectives. Sponsors pursue “political” intentions with the project. Sooner or later such conflicts paralyse the working processes in your project. Now, you wish to inhibit conflicts, even before they arise? You wish to arrive at solid agreements with sponsors, suppliers, customers or other stakeholders?

Seminar Objectives

In this seminar you will learn how conflicts arise and acquire techniques to solve them constructively or even to pre-empt them altogether. Furthermore, you will get to know how you will gain results in which both sides win. You will know about the necessary preparation and have enhanced your conflict resolution skills and negotiation skills. So, you will be able to prepare a negotiation optimally, to negotiate for win-win solutions and to deal with difficult negotiation partners.

Your Benefit

The focus of this seminar is: Little theory, more practice. The focus of this seminar lies on your daily life as a project manager. During the course we will practise concretely using your own examples. This way, we wish to guarantee an easy transfer to your daily work. In addition we will conduct peer consulting sessions for your current conflicts and negotiations. This way, you will receive individual feedback, not only by an educated instructor, but also by your fellow participants. Benefit from this exchange of experiences with other project managers!
