International Project Management

Achieve an effective cross-border co-operation in your project team

PM Expert Level

You project team is dotted around the globe and common working hours are almost impossible. You have the electronic tools for speedy, worldwide communication – but do you really utilise these efficiently? The potentials in your team are great, but how do you consolidate the knowledge and experience of the various experts? How do you recognise cultural differences at an early stage and how do you deal with them in a way to gain from synergy effects?

Seminar Objectives

Within the scope of this seminar, you as project leader or your entire team identify the linguistic and cultural differences which can lead to misunderstandings and problems in international teams.
You develop alternative behaviour patterns for dealing with these difficulties. In addition, you learn the potentials of current electronic tools – what tool is right for you in which situation? Thus, you will learn how to configure leadership and communications effectively and discover which rules need to be established for teamwork in an international context. You will be able to truly tap into existing synergy effects and will also remain capable of acting despite the distances and time differences.

Your Benefit

We combine short theory inputs with numerous practical workshops. You will gain in confidence when dealing with international teams and develop tools of the trade which will support you in your work.
In terms of content, the seminar is aimed at multinational teams. If you have a team comprising of just two nationalities (e.g. German & Japanese) you will receive valuable suggestions from us. We also arrange specific seminars for entire teams, for example seminars which examine German-Japanese cooperation exclusively. We organise these seminars for a wide range of nationalities with the assistance of our partners.
