Recertification
Stay on the ball and recertify
In order to ensure the continous professional development of owner of the IPMA certification, this is available only 5 years for all steps. After this period of time a recertification is necessary for a prolongation of the certificate which prolongs the certificate by further 5 years. An alternative would be the first certification at an higher level.

Here you will find a first orientation:
Independent of the levels it is necessary to submit the following documents:
- Proposal of recertification
- Evidence of qualifications in project management
- Sheet of self-accessment
- Feedback sheets
In addition owner of the cetificate of level D have to take either an oral examination or prove an activity in project management for at least 12 month for the recertificatgion.
For level C, B and A there is no examination planned. For recertification a evidence of activity in project management is requested. This is achieved by a current project list with description of the project and an a plan of the project times.
