The IPMA Competence Baseline (ICB) is the international standard of project management of IPMA – International Project Management Association. It is the substancial basis for the certification of project management stuff. The book as NCB National Competence Baseline of PM-ZERT is also available in German.

 

The ICB contains three fields of competence

  • Technical Competences
  • Behavioural Competences und
  • Contextual Competences
consisting of 46 elements in total for the assessment of knowledge and experience as well as the evidence of competence of persones in project management.
